1. Scope

These terms govern the use of the PenguChart – Copy Slides & Linked Charts add-on for Google Slides™ ("the add-on") and of this website, operated by Jonas Regauer (see Legal Notice).

2. The service

The add-on copies Google Slides presentations together with the Google Sheets files linked to their charts and relinks the charts in the copies. It runs on Google Apps Script within your Google account and requires the permissions requested during installation.

3. Beta status

The add-on is currently provided free of charge as a public beta. It is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We recommend verifying important copies after each run; original files are not modified by the copy process.

4. Acceptable use

You may only use the add-on with content you are entitled to copy. You must not use the add-on to infringe third-party rights or to circumvent access restrictions.

5. Known technical limitations

Due to restrictions of the Google APIs, certain chart effects applied within Slides (cropping, borders, recolor, shadow, brightness, contrast, transparency, reflection) cannot be transferred to copies, and linked tables cannot currently be relinked. The add-on points these out where they occur.

6. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and under mandatory statutory provisions. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of free service.

7. Third-party trademarks

Google Slides™, Google Sheets™ and Google Drive™ are trademarks of Google LLC. PenguChart is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

8. Changes and governing law

We may amend these terms for the future with reasonable notice. The law of Germany applies; mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
